I can’t believe political leaders implemented policies costing more than $6 trillion without resolving the issues you highlight in advance?

There has to be a better approach for managing in an uncertain environment?

I hope Rocky considers your input. This is an open forum, devoid of corporate virtue signaling. I’d be sorry to see him go. He is well read and shares the fruits of his labor.

    T. C. Is the “Trump” of the Thunderdome centerists. He interjects his safe middle of the road opinions with the occasional personal invective to demonstrate commitment. I find that amusing.

We need a Rodney King moment.

A joke. I used a laughing emoticon hoping it wouldn’t be misunderstood. I failed. Sorry.

Not so fast Legend!  Consider Rocky’s thoughts above.

First it invites Bubba & Cankles to do what they do best. See Epstein, Jeffrey and Foster, Vince as examples.

Second, not a day before she itemizes in excruciating detail every low life she and Epstein pimped for; every personal perversion she knows of. The ability to service a need damaged countless girls.

T.C., did you follow the LA chumps announcement about the results from their oh so effective contact tracing program?

Cain & the 6,500 rally attendees made high risk personal decisions encouraged by Señor Orange. Biden, democratic mayors, democratic members of Congress, antifa & BLM LEADERSHIP did nothing to discourage risky personal behavior.

I guess black lives don’t matter a wit if there are anti Orange political points to be garnered. (Meanwhile the LA Dunce is shutting beaches on 4th of July.).

Silent, senile Joe still your man after he lost his voice about every topic but anti Orange bs?  Is he lying?  Irresponsibile? Driven exclusively by Joe’s self interest…and contrary to your and my health and better interests?  Leadership?  Uniting us under his flag of fear and infection?

He’s all yours TC…you treasonous SoB!   :yahoo:

I guess there is or might be soon?  Any thoughts about an appropriate name for an NFL expansion team to be based in Oakland?

“In a letter sent to the NFL, the African American Sports & Entertainment Committee proposes a privately financed expansion team and suggests the league should consider the current national moment and lend its support to the initiative.

The group came together in an informal manner approximately three months ago to discuss starting a new team in Oakland. The process accelerated following the killings of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd.

    Reparations down payment?

Is there any team in the NFL where a majority ownership position is held by blacks?

Perhaps this is just a bunch of white guys trying to pander… for free?

They don’t go too BLM in labor negotiations…with an overwhelmingly black labor force do they?

I agree completely…as to generational change.  But as the name implies, it likely moves at the same pace it has during our lifetimes.  Look back for a moment TC and pat yourself on your skinny little ass.  We’ve matriculated the ball down the field during our time.  But current lawlessness, the murders in Seattle for instance, will move the needle about as far as Kent State.

Our only difference my friend is you seem to be caught up in the moment.  And unlike Lex, who sees the Trump driven pendulum moving to the left, I see the democratic embrace of the lawlessness, see defunding of police for instance, as a reprise of history, that being Pete Wilson and Prop 187.  It may have gained an election win for and individual, but it permanently ended the relevance of the Republican Party in California politics.  {And I note an important difference relative to the Orange One & immigration.  One was pandering to a dying coalition, the other being necessary for the recreation of an American middle class.}.

Failing cities, policy driven expansion of a permanent underclass, international relations decoupled from long term economic and security interests, disavowing property rights, looting, burning, destruction of public property and denying free speech rights to your political opponents is not suitable long term positioning for any political party.  Lex may be right as to 2020, although I doubt it, but this policy formulation is DoA.
This is a very dynamic environment and I agree with your percentages today PL. But will Joe stay at 80% if he doesn’t go out in public and campaign. BTW, I am not criticizing the strategy. It is ingenious. As long as it is a referendum on trump, the Orange one loses, if there is a contrast made, he might survive.
Biden has to convince residents in enough states that he’s offering a return to the “good old days”. The economic impact of changing lifestyles driven by the virus will facilitate his narrative. Certain industries, travel, leisure and hospitality will be be slow to recover, if they ever do.

But he remains a bent and senile incompetent. That provides a whole lot of low hanging fruit.

TC, read this article and ask yourself, am I being foolish to oversimplify the analysis of complex decisions; decisions that are driven to some degree by circumstances outside the control of a single individual?  Decisions requiring individuals to deal with self interest as well as considerable uncertainty; in this case future election outcomes?

Are you comfortable conflating questionable taste & discretion with treason. Seems like more than a leap to me.

Indeed Roscoe, once again your experience serves you well as you share your thinking about the Orange One.  I bet you’ve found that your clients never care about the results at trial in the cases you handle.  They are paying happily for your style, your good looks, your manners & and your cool motions and objections!

I’m curious, are you able to you sell courtroom photos taken with your clients like the political types do?  What’s your rate for a suitable portrait?

Rocky, can you imagine the dedication and professionalism that the rank and file law enforcement officers would bring to protective details serving the N.Y. mayor?  The Minneapolis supervisors?  The Seattle mayor?  They might do more than turn their back. So our leaders invest in redundancy…and so it has been in every area of government. Why manage when you can throw more money against the wall?

Can union leadership commit to these guys and maintain any cred with the rank & file?

TC, how do you go from Russian bounties offered in Afghanistan to masks in Miami?  Seems typical of our politics unfortunately.  Cast the net as wide as possible to condemn Trump.  Remember to be flexible, if the first narrative is shown to be bs, simply offer more of the same?

TC, I am amused when you suggest that I should be seeking truth from democrat POLITICIANS.  Tell me, which democrats do you “take to the bank”?  Adam Schiff?  Jerry Nadler?  Macie Hirono?  Hillary Clinton?  Dianne Feinstein?  Nancy Pelosi?  {Republicans murdered George Floyd}  Who is it TC?

I also suspect you know you are dissembling when you suggest I am an Orange sycophant.  Your superb story telling skills, often in evidence in your posts, confirms you have a high quality memory.  Accordingly, I strongly suspect you fully appreciate that my “support” for the Orange One was, and always has been predicated on his ability and willingness to blow our current “politics” to kingdom come.  I have stated too frequently that I believe our current practitioners are self serving power obsessed fools who have no commitment to the good of the nation.  Since its inception, campaign Orange and the subsequent reign of terror has been predicated on bringing politicians on both sides of the aisle into clear view.  Jeb Bush?  Marco Rubio, with an assist from Christie?  John McCain?  Lisa Murkowski?  Paul Ryan?  And of course the loyal opposition.  {Remember how he was lambasted for suggesting Obama bugged his campaign and Trump Tower?}  He has been bipartisan in his contempt and yes I think that is precisely what is needed in our times.

If you really believe a “Biden” administration is what is needed all I can say is I disagree profoundly.  I don’t think his family needs the money.  I don’t think we need senility at the top.  I don’t think we need more bureaucrats destroying our public institutions; see Comey, Rice, Clapper, Holder, Lynch, Grubber & Vindman, just to name a few.  These are the folks who thrived during the previous administration.  And here you are saying, “Thank you Joe, may I have another!”?

And as you asked, I do wear a mask much of the time when I’m going to be in close quarters.  As you know, I am not a candidate to sacrifice for the benefit of us all through herd immunity.  But that is how I see this current outbreak.  It is significantly impacting those under 40, a low risk demographic.  The only downer is that it necessitates the further isolation of folks like you and me.  But hey, that’s my cross to bear and I do it with a smile.  I’ve got my bonsai trees and an ocean view.

Geez, how naive can you guys be.  You’re off in the wrong direction totally.  Following the media/democratic narrative like lemmings.

Just how much money do you estimate we threw at the Afghan resistance when Russian troops were occupying the country?  Not just a bounty but offensive military hardware.  The means to kill their soldiers?  How in the world do you think the militias were able to down Russian helicopters?

This “bounty” narrative is advanced for a single reason; prior bs, Russia collusion, solicitation of the Ukraine government seeking election interference didn’t stick.  So now we watch as you buy what they’re selling.  You don’t take a moment to consider the history; the source.  No critical review?  Just all in since its being advanced to damage Trump’s political interests.  PT Barnum had you guys pegged.

The mistake here would be if Trump/Obana/Bush/the Pentagon/the Intel community didn’t anticipate this activity on the part of the Russians BEFORE WE INTRODUCED TROOPS BACK IN 2001.  That would be disqualifyingly negligent.  Now Trump may double down on stupid…pretending he didn’t know the Russians were up to their elbows doing what we do.  We’ll see.

You of course realize there is some similar goings on in plain view?  Just like the Cubans in Venezuela?  Just like Obama campaign talent working for the Israeli political opposition?  Just like Obama sending arms to the Syrian opposition?  Wake up.  That’s what is done…by everyone.

I find it hard to believe you buy this crap.  Nothing but a bunch of low information voters.
