ParticipantLots of stories coming out about the Afghanistan withdrawal, the lack of accountability, and the holes in our veteran support network.
Christy Shamblin, whose daughter-in-law, Sgt. Nicole Gee, was killed during Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal:

CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, & NBC did not spend ONE second covering the heartbreaking testimony from Gold Star families who lost loved ones in Biden’s horrific Afghanistan withdrawal.
The legacy media is truly disgusting.

Before you complain about the links, and the source of these clips, only Fox and C-Span covered the testimony or the hearing. No CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, or ABC.
Of course, President Biden couldn’t help himself and trotted out this old lie….
Cheryl Rex describes Biden's callous attempt to lump his son Beau's death from cancer with the pain of losing her son Dylan Merola in the Afghanistan withdrawal suicide bombing.

Then there was a visit with a survivor. Doesn’t the President have an advance team to avoid these faux pas?
Sgt. Tyler Vargas-Andrews, a Marine who survived the explosion in Kabul that killed 13 Americans, says that when Joe and Jill Biden came to his hospital room, the president reached out to shake his hand even though his arm was gone, immediately started talking about his son, and… pic.twitter.com/5axewScAPk

rjnwmillParticipantThank you for posting this. It brings to mind the democrats commitment to gold star families. Was it 2016 they had a gold star father address their convention? Wasn’t he offended by something that Trump said on the campaign trail?
The fact that the media hasn’t covered the story is somewhat surprising to me. With the ongoing censorship research being conducted by the Biden administration and the litigation underway with the injunction issued by the judge, this seems a bit too obvious, no?
Here's a toast with one last pour, may it last forever and a minute more;

Mick1ParticipantHillary Clinton was trying to score points because Trump offended people on the campaign trail. She sought and scheduled a Muslim gold star family member to speak. That was a difficult get, Muslims are about 0.25% of the armed forces, and there were only a handful of them. But the Muslim father of a slain American GI spoke forcefully against Trump.
Seven years later, the Democrats are not as concerned, apparently. And the nature of the withdrawal from Afghanistan virtually guaranteed additional American casualties.

ParticipantSo who screwed up? I doubt it was the commanders on the ground. It was Biden or his advisors.
And according to the Republican Senator below, “he must do better”. There you have it. I doubt Biden even remembers it.
The rule is Nobody is Innocent, Just Not Guilty. Like the nuns used to talk about original sin. Everyone starts out dirty until the sins are washed away. That’s where press and lawyers come in.

ParticipantWell yea. It’s just like the recently finished White House cocaine investigation. “There are no leads”. Or the Supreme Court can’t figure out who the opinion leaker was after a nine month investigation. They have their own variation. No one is guilty. But we all all embarrassed.
Republicans have reached new levels of “baffled” by all of this.
Nobody’s innocent. Just not guilty.
