rjnwmillParticipantThanks Mick. Only complaint, there’s no authoritative comment on the hundreds of financial transactions that were flagged by the banking system.

ParticipantThe media has given the story a “good leaving alone”. Saying nothing is as loud as saying something. And when they do say something it’s a lie. They lie to us. We know they lie to us. They know we know. They keep lying. We keep pretending.
Looking at the websites of AP and UPI this week and when the CPI numbers came down Tuesday there was no mention on either. These are 2 of the biggest news bureaus in the world. Nada. Zilch. That’s was a big story which effects everyone.
As to the article above, I’ll bet there were very few people who read it. But NY mag they can say with a wink and a nod that they covered it.

MickParticipantI recall listening to a debate between a lefty and righty about the impact of standard media bias. Lefty (editor) says there’s no such thing, we report the news and only the news. We don’t editorialize at our publication. Righty (politician) says “True or false. You literally get to decide what is news by selecting which news is fit to print. You create bias when you publish one story over another or publish one side of a story or another. True or false?” To his amazement, the editor agreed.
