44% in California, per Capitol Weekly. Second place is Katie Porter’s 28%. About 50% of all CA voters oppose her candidacy, 33% of Democratic voters expressed very strong support.
AtlasIntel, the most accurate pollster in the 2024 presidential race, has a recent poll that shows Pete Buttigieg as the leading candidate for the 2028 Dem nomination with 31.5% support from Dem voters, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortes in second with 19.4%. Kamala Harris is third with 16.6% of the vote. This is a two-week old poll, I’d be curious to see how Rahm Emanuel fares.
Same poll: Cory Booker, 10.4%; Newsom, 7.1%, Shapiro, 4.8%; Whitmer, 3.7%.
Republicans: Vance, 37.3% for 2028 nomination, Secty Rubio at 18.7%. Don Trump Jr., 8.8% and Ron DeSantis, 7%.
51% said if the midterms were held today, they would vote Democrat, 42% would vote Republican.

This poll compares hypothetical 028 matchups between JD Vance and Democrats Newsom, AOC and Buttigieg. Buttigieg was best by a slim margin, followed by Newsom then AOC.
Vance vs. Newsom, Vance wins 45% to 42%.
Vance vs. AOC, Vance wins 44% to 41%.
Vance vs. Buttigieg, Vance wins 44% to 43%.
Between 13% and 15% undecided in each instance.
