ParticipantPlace additional limits on police while rioters take control of Oregon’s largest city.
WTF. And then blame Trump for stoking divisiveness? What a tool.

Rocky17ParticipantFor the life of me I cannot understand how even one person could vote for a Kate Brown or a Ted Wheeler. Daft.
Wheeler is so averse to confronting lawlessness by Antifa et. al. that he will move out of his condominium as they violently protest in front of it rather than throw them all into jail. WTF. The more he bends over, the less respect the rioters have for him and the more he (and we) get f`d over.

The great thing about democracy is that we get the leadership we deserve.

Look at the candidates that didn’t make the top two (after ranked choice like San Francisco). An anti-police brutality activist, a perennial candidate who hosts a show on PBS, and an architect / sustainability consultant.
There’s no balance in Portland, so they get the choices they want… Ted Wheeler or a woman who says “I am antifa” openly, and suggests that peaceful protests aren’t effective at delivering the message.

reminds me of the idiotic council lady in Seattle who voted against defund the police because it didn’t go far enough. Government you deserve indeed. F EM all.

Ted Wheeler just banned the use of tear gas except for in life threatening situations. Follows Jenny Durkan in Seattle.

ParticipantTed has declared himself a lighting rod to bothe sides. His next brilliant move will be handing the police departement over to an African-American woman on the city council. 🙄

ParticipantJay Inslee to Kate Brown, Jenny Durkan, and Ted Wheeler: “Hold my beer.”

I know his (and his wife’s) heart was in the right place, but quality control, please.
