Good summary from a finance guy who isn’t really political. The media narrative of “rambling” seems to be from low-IQ journalists who can’t wait to parrot the DNC frame. “Normies” who actually listened with a curious mindset seem to have taken away specific policy prescriptions.
I listened to part of it. Trump has an unexplained lisp (or maybe I missed the explanation), which was distracting. Botched the explanation of nuclear power (Musk had a better grasp of the overall issue, but Trump correctly latched onto regulatory issues that drive up costs without increasing safety).
Really mad at the European Commissioner who wrote a smug letter threatening Musk over the interview. F— right off, you arrogant pri–s. Go ahead and keep regulating Europe into obsolescence. Then there’s the Washington Post reporter who tried to get KJP to say what the White House was going to do to censor or stop the interview. Crazy stuff.

Here’s Rowan Atkinson defending free speech and calling for the repeal of the UK’s insulting speech law.

Important to thank the Founding Fathers for the First Amendment.

cardcrimsonParticipantThe Euro Commissioner should be tried for attempting to influence an American election. POS, no doubt.
Didn’t see or hear any of the interview. Just read some of the comments, ranging from a rambling, slurring speech to pretty good. And those were from left leaning sites.
FWIW, I have a lisp. Went to speech therapy in second grade, though it still lingers. Some words, I still really struggle with, at least I think I do. When I’m tired or after a glass or two it gets more noticeable. That said, I was interviewing a young woman about 25 years ago at lunch. Stone sober and not tired. She had the temerity to ask me if my lisp held me back in business. I said no, but wish I had responded that “no, my speech impediment doesn’t hold me back; the fact that I’m a young, white male holds me back plenty.” Needless to say, she wasn’t hired.

ParticipantI don’t think it was a normal lisp. I think Trump’s dentures were loose. I’ve noticed it occasionally in some of his rallies (having spent more time than any sane man should listening to them over the last year or so).

Out of frustration, I actually said that in an interview once, indirectly. I was interviewing for a role for which I was profoundly well qualified and knew I wasn’t going to get. The CEO asked me what my greatest weakness was, and I replied that my greatest weakness was that I wasn’t a perky blond woman. Law firms have a tendency to hire perky blond women as CMOs.
No, I didn’t get that job. A perky blond woman got it.
