What is crazy about the Barbary Wars is that the UK didn’t do it first. Barbary pirates literally took over towns on islands off the Irish and Welsh coasts and took all the adults as slaves. Considering that the UK was busy trying to to abolish slavery at the time, you would have thought that they would have taken action against the Barbary pirates beforehand. Then again, they had more resources to simply pay the tribute.

Investigators did, however, determine that the Tesla truck was rented through the Turo app, the same one used to rent the pickup truck used in the New Orleans attack, law enforcement sources told The Post.
