Do you think it’s going to be more spending on processed food / fast food? One of the worst things about inflation over the last three years is that it costs a lot more to cook at home. For the long-term health of the country, more people cooking at home would be a good thing. If we’re substituting cheap, processed food for home cooked meals, inflation will also result in more obesity and metabolic disease.
Delinquency rate appears to be returning to normal. (Pre-Covid). Just guessing, but I think eviction and foreclosure protection granted during COVID had more to do with the lower rate than anything else.
Yes, it does effect everything. I have wondered how the 4.2 million miles of highways will be paved once oil is gone. And the 300 million driveways and parking lots. My driveway is 350 feet and pavers aren’t going to do it. I could always build a stall and get a horse.
