Mick1ParticipantHigh points of Noonan’s article:
Four concerns re: Harris:
- Voters who might consider Harris still don’t know what Harris is about.
- She has no mission.
- She has no intellectual grasp.
- The politics of joy (Hubert Humphrey used the same phrase) doesn’t resonate when we’re surrounded by inflation, immigration, AI, Putin, Mideast, China, strikes, natural disasters, etc.
Both candidates have higher unfavorable ratings than favorable…but Harris’ unfavorables are 10 points higher, Trump’s just seven points higher. More importantly, Trump holds the “favorable” edge over independents, 44% to 35%.
Newsflash to political pros: You can’t market your way to the presidency. We want to know specifics. Softball interviewers don’t cut it.

LegendKeymasterNoonan is a never Trumper who is trying her best to help Kamala without sacrificing whatever journalistic integrity she has.
Kamala has a record problem. A smart GOP would only run on that. She’s a marquee player in an admin that quickly became one of the most inept in history, and she has deeper history as a vapid supporter of some of the most liberal buffoonery out there. It’s so bad that when Trump mentions a true story (she supports publicly funding sex changes for illegal alien prisoners), it’s immediately dismissed as his ridiculousness instead of hers. She is on record as supporting some truly unbelievable stuff, because she has no understanding of economics and has grown up in a state where politics don’t really matter…the machine does.
