Rocky17ParticipantPlease note that despite the fact that on its face there is as of yet no legal significance and election repercussion, it is highly unusual for a DOJ investigation into voter fraud to have been initiated prior to vote certification. The traditional approach has always been to investigate if necessary after the certification. If nothing else, this lends credence to the speculation that substantial voter fraud allegations are being taken quite seriously and are well above the threshold requiring serious inspection.

LegendKeymasterWell, when you look at the margins of victory, it’s reasonable to expect a modicum of care and urgency in looking into possible fraud. The Russia hoaxers from four years ago wouldn’t have it any other way.

ParticipantI’m a pragmatist. President Trump should accept the election of Biden for the good of the country after a review of what happened. At this point nothing good will come of extending this. Live to fight another day.
Republicans have been given a gift with the election of Biden/Harris. Play the hand. Should be pretty easy.

Genuine RealistParticipantMore than that, allegation after allegation, and not a shred of evidence. The Washington Post is headlining a retraction by some Pennsylania postal worker who claimed to the press that ballots had been backdated, then backed off completely when postal inspectors showed up to interview him
25,000 nursing home ballots requested simultaneously? How would anyone know that? And if you do have evidence, why isn’t ii in the press release?
Give it up. Trump is history. I’m saddened for Lindsay Graham, who is a favorite of mine.
I wouldn't give you two cents for all your fancy rules if, behind them, they didn't have a little bit of plain, ordinary, everyday kindness - yeah, and a little looking out for the other fella, too.

cardcrimsonParticipantAccording to a poll by Politico, 70% of Republicans believe there was indeed voter fraud in the election. 70%!!! That’s at least 49 million people. 49 million people that have lost faith in our electoral process.
Don’t you think they deserve at least a peek into the situation to restore their trust?

Genuine RealistParticipantOh, I’m all for a peek. Me and Mitch McConnell. A really sane voice. It was a strange election,
But sooner or later, you gotta come up with evidence. As with the Russian collusion of yore, which was also believed by millions, there ain’t an iota.
My favorite to date is the two disappointed Republican Senators in Georgia demanding the resignation of the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State is a REPUBLICAN, as is Kemp, the Governor, and Trump supporters. He bluntly informed Perdue and Loeffler that though he was as disappointed as they in the result, the Georgian voting process was fair and transparent.
Cheer up. If Trump had pulled it off, the Democrats would be doing the same darn thing, plus riots. That kind of world.

Rocky17ParticipantThe Pa employee did not recant. Fake news made up by Dems and WaPo.

cardcrimsonParticipantI find it interesting that twitter posts on the tweet, in bright red letters “the claim about election fraud is disputed”. I wonder if they print “the claim about a free and fair election is disputed” on tweets claiming the same? Somehow I doubt it.

Participant*shrug* Big Tech decided they wanted to follow the mainstream media into trying to tell people what to believe. As a result, they’ve lost credibility just like the major news organizations have All this “disputed,” “suspension,” “fact-checking” stuff goes one way, and as a result, lacks credibility. They’ve made their bed, they’re going to have to live with the possible consequences. Of course, those who benefit just won a top-line election, but if they keep it up, those who are most affected may win the legislative branch, and then there will be h— to pay.
There’s a reason why populism is making a comeback. The arrogance of the media, big tech, and the “elites,” has become too much. Top down management of all aspects of people’s lives, WHILE jobs are being lost, businesses are going under, and in general people’s lives are becoming less free is having a tangible effect. Say what you will about Trump, he really did deliver on the economy and making people feel more free (unless you bought into the media’s “fascism” garbage).

Real household income rose, not just for the wealthy, but for EVERYBODY under Trump. Minority wages rose across the board. Employment numbers for the poorest, minorities, women, etc., reached unprecedented levels.
Whine all you want about the Trump tax cuts, but they provided real tax relief to the poorest and middle class (the nature of a progressive tax system means you CANNOT cut taxes without benefiting the people in the top income brackets on some level). You wonder what the Trump appeal was? Talk to the non-political classes.

Genuine RealistParticipantThis link describes Hopkins’s allegations in detail.
They are absolutely worthless.
The fact that Trump’s campaign is relying on this second hand wishy-washy hearsay speaks volumes.
