      1. Economic Concerns Remain High on Voters’ Minds. Only 28% of the country’s voters think we’re on the right track.

      2. Trump’s strong base of support among Republicans

      3. Growing support from swing voters

      4. Trump’s messaging on law and order

      5. Americans’ concerns over immigration policies

      6. Effective use of social media and digital campaigns.

      7. Appeal to rural and conservative voters

      8. Potential voter fatigue with the establishment. Biden has a 40% job approval rating, Harris was voted least popular/most disliked VP.

      Reasons Harris could win:

      1. Abortion.
      2. Net favorability ratings of Harris at -2 and The Donald at -7. In 16 of the past 17 elections, the candidate with the best net favorability rating won. But the only instance in which they didn’t? Trump in 2016.

I still think Trump wins, but am getting a distinctly “red wave” feeling.  I think in my little ideological corner of the internet where x and Facebook pushes me, Trump should win in a landslide.

when I step away from that, which I do frequently (for example I maintain a NYT subscription, don’t ask me why), it seems equally or more plausible that Kamala could win. I really don’t like her as a president. She’s awful. But she could win because…

…Trump doesn’t know how to shut up, never mind when.  He’s truly terrible down the stretch. I caught him on Fox and friends this morning and he was all over the place. I wish he could just shut up but that’s him. I would love to meet the guy and have a dinner with him. I would enjoy it, I bet, but man I don’t like him as a politician.
