As much as I dislike the Dodgers, I’d like to see Steve Garvey as our Senator. What’s interesting is that he is making up a lot of ground very quickly. The Institute of Governmental Studies at UC-Berkeley (of all places) found Garvey with 27% support and Schiff at 25%.

Low turnout primary. Schiff has tons of money. He’s really arrogant, though. I don’t know who is running the PAC attack ad against Garvey, but they have the messaging wrong. Yes, Garvey votes for Trump twice. But his “scare quotes” are: “We were safer under Trump,” (true), and that he wants to build the wall, which is getting more and more popular, even in California.
