LegendKeymasterFirst drive starts with a first down then consecutive penalties to kill the mo. Punt it.
I don’t know what it is about us, but we rarely look crisp on offense. Always hurried.

LegendKeymasterFirst d drive is mushy. Pitch and catch for the kstate o. Then Kelly nails it with the pick.

LegendKeymaster2nd d drive is more mush. Pitch and catch for 55 yards followed by qb keeper for a td with Kelly getting trucked. You win some you lose some but soft d usually loses some.

LegendKeymasterWe change the qb, gain a couple first downs, then bog and punt.

LegendKeymaster1h is done. Not much to write home about. 14-0 k state. Not much of a qb controversy. Tanner seemed to be a bit more crisp but then again west has always had that deer in headlights look.
our d got gassed at the end. No pass rush. Not sure we have k state where we want them.

Cornfed
ParticipantCannot believe West was the starter. I think it speaks volumes about Shaw’s formulaic aprroach.

LegendKeymasterI can’t get over how poorly prepared our team was vs k state. We looked out of sync, hurried, sloppy, and soft.
On the bright side we are really good at getting a lot of 3rd and long reps (on O).

cardcrimsonParticipantAbsolutely an awful game. Totally unprepared and the talent level disparity was stunning. Should have been a lot more lopsided, save for a couple of breaks. Embarrassing against a lower tier Big 12 team.
But hey, Shaw is still getting his millions and that’s what matters.
