As this post will show, I’m not a watcher of women’s basketball (except that Caitlin Clark gal…she’s special).

Anybody know the scoop on what has happened to Stanford WBB?  I just went looking and realized we weren’t even in the tournament.  I knew our athletic department was in disarray, but had no idea WBB was in the tank. That was always an easy one to count on.

Bernie Muir has been a disaster for Stanford athletics.  I have personally given tens of thousands of dollars, a leg and probably a few years of my life expectancy to Stanford athletics over the past three decades, and I have been in a couldn’t care less mode for years now.

I think Kate Paye, the coach, is having a difficult time. Beyond that, I can’t really say.

Stanford had players transfer out after Tara retired (and lost Lauren Betts, a #1 overall recruit to UCLA). Supposedly, recruiting picked up last year and Stanford may be reloading.
