Karine Jean-Pierre just said the U.S. government wouldn't be rescuing citizens from Sudan and that they should have paid closer to attention to the State Department's "Level 4" warning. What an insensitive thing to say to Americans trapped in a war zone for a variety of reasons.

On a side note, what happened to Darfur and South Sudan? All those celebrities wanted us to care so much, South Sudan happened, and now it is one of the countries that commits the most civil rights violations and treats its citizens the worst. Now the entire region is corrupt and on fire, and the celebrities seem to have forgotten.

Apparently we can’t handle neolithic Sudan in an evacuation.

I doubt many of us are looking for a peaceful future my friend.   Every world leader is looking at the weakness of the US and Europe thinking payback time.  Easy pickings.

The French and the Italians (and Jordanians, Spanish, Germans and Greeks, among others) will have to evacuate Americans.

The United States and Joe Biden are now the ONLY major country on the planet that doesn't have a defined, well articulated plan to get its citizens out of Sudan.

The only one.

Such major powers as Bangladesh, Lithuania, and Ecuador got their citizens out.

But not America.
