ParticipantAnd Trump is showing no leadership. Powerful audio from the Georgia elections official (who voted for Trump).

rjnwmillParticipantIf your going to post faux outrage, broaden your “bipartisan” focus.
Our politicians/political actors have no problem when others persons and property are actually destroyed. They only become outraged when the license they willingly offer is directed at them. This summer was replete with far too many examples.
And you of course recall the silence of the senile one…until the polls moved against him? That leadership?
Our politics suck. There is no commitment to what’s right, what’s necessary. Only a commitment to division fostering political advantage. Thanks for participating personally in their nonsense.
Here's a toast with one last pour, may it last forever and a minute more;

ParticipantGeorgia election official Gabriel Sterling is upset. And he wants everyone to know he’s upset so he goes on a self-righteous rant winding up on the highly anti-social media platform called YouTube. A lot of people took the bait. Media outlets jumped on it.
Bottom line, Sterling’s job was to run a clean election in his appointed area. Whether or not he did doesn’t really matter now because lot of people disagree with the outcome for legitimate reasons. It’s ok to disagree. In my state, there were no disputes about the outcomes because the people who ran the elections knew what they were doing. And my guy lost but I’m confident in the results. My guess about the highly frustrated Gabriel Sterling is that he is incompetent. Understands nothing about risks in the election world. And now he’s wondering why things have gone sideways. Man up Gabe.

ParticipantPossibly. The Internet makes it easy for people to be jerks / a–holes, including acting out in real life, thinking the relative anonymity of the Internet translates into real life. Of course, the second anyone does anything remotely controversial nowadays, they run to the “I’m being threatened” card. Yes, some of the threats are very real and should be taken seriously, but at this point, ascribing blame for threats is really tricky and difficult to prove.
