LegendKeymasterI think you nail it. Trump forgot that domestic politics end at the border. Embarrassing. And I say this as someone who tolerates Trump because I think he is stirring things that need to be stirred.

LegendKeymasterI think that Trump looked very weak in this one. Because he blusters so much, it was conspicuous how tame he was being.
Certainly feeds the conspiracy theorists.

LegendKeymasterAnd, there is your answer.
As someone who had news of a private encounter with a lady friend in a car actually profiled by the original bootleg pamphlet, I can tell you that it used to be uncensored.
The corp has gone to hell.
I can also tell you that my employer (I don’t have one) or sponsors (ditto) have no say in what is posted here. Civility is valued, but risqué discussions fit that.

LegendKeymasterI can’t stand all the Jr. high stuff there but it was there first.
The lock was on the papa john thread where the fool of our fathers decided to passively test out more racial slurs.
Papa john is an idiot for not knowing better, but the story merits discussion.
EDIT. Now it looks to have been deleted. Somebody must have been offended.

LegendKeymasterThis is amazing.
What IS the framework for a clean exit? I mean, May leaves a lot of sovereignty on the table, but what is the answer?

LegendKeymasterDid Trump say the NOKO agreement was successful, or just the meeting? I can’t remember the “agreement” providing an actual framework like the Iranian one…rather it was a first step. But, maybe that’s your point.

LegendKeymasterIt’s probably perception, and I suspect our more left leaning friends would say the same thing… Still, I do find that to support Trump in anything is to “love him” as you suggest. I just don’t get that. I supported Obama on opening up Cuba, and for some reason people could understand that I didn’t generally like the Obama admin.

LegendKeymasterFree speech in liberal circles went away once liberals started to apply all thoughts as litmus tests.
Why won’t many people admit they voted for Trump? Because liberals have done a nice job of ensuring that discussion of a vote for Trump ONLY ends with an accusation of racism, naziism, sexism, or gay bashing. And, since accusations of those things can end careers and destroy reputations, the logical end is that liberals hold anyone’s dissent over their head like the sword of Damocles.
That’s just like free thinkers everywhere.
I thought we had a pretty good group of folks who would at least argue on the merits around here, but I don’t think the libs came over… and that’s making this less fun, because there are few things more rare than a liberal willing to discuss conservative ideas.

LegendKeymasterI have no problem with the gatherings, but to call them the “families belong together” protests is just mind boggling. It’s an example of the overweening simplification of a very complicated problem.

LegendKeymasterI’m thinking that Trump should nominate Robert Mueller for the USSC.
That, or Trey Gowdy.

LegendKeymasterI too thought it was wrong to block the Garland vote, but the republicans were and are in power and I don’t think the midterms are going to change that. They can do what they want. Think for a minute about what would be fair to the Democrats. If I’m mcconnel I’m voting asap.
