““Don’t let Oregon go red” was her rallying cry.”

Did you instead mean “war chant”?

    The irony is fantastic.

I was stunned by Feterman’s performance. The puppet masters attempting to use the midterm cycle to install another mentally incapacitated body in our national government.

You consider the possibility of F & F, Feinstein & Feterman serving simultaneously in the Senate
it’s bodies they seek that provide vessels through which they can vote. Nothing more.

I’ve been thinking of you Mick as your favorite Governor seems to be fading as they approach the finish line in Michigan. Might she be kidnapped
again?

That’s about the size of it. And further isolating voters from decision making institutions won’t help. Deferring to international bureaucratic bodies doesn’t seem like a plausible turn around strategy for OUR country?

“On the other hand, Joe Biden had his highest rating since January, 2022”

Mick, isn’t “highest” a relative term?

October 17, 2022 Rasmussen has Biden at a 44% approval point. On October 17, 2018 Trump was at 49%. The republicans were killed in the 2018 midterms in 2018?

The kids brought me up for the USC game.  I’m not sure I can enjoy more of that.  However, I’m planning to be up over Thanksgiving.  Will you be in town?  I’d like to get together if possible.

It will be interesting to see how races will be impacted by Tulsi Gabbard’s active participation.

Neo, I have to conclude that as much as 50% + of the electorate isn’t too bothered by mental incapacity in political leadership. How else to explain the post stroke candidacy of Fetterwoman and the Pennsylvania polling results?  It amazes me.

    Leg and:
Trump alone screwed up Georgia’s senate seats. The asshole.
How do you weigh Trump’s impact relative to the 2020 Covid voting process anomalies and the Abrams litigation re voter access?

    Cornfed:

”And Walker can be dismissed because his son is alienated from him?  Then BT, I presume you are favorably disposed to Trump since all of his children are so loyal to him.”

😉 Yesssss, but doesn’t he have a niece and a sister who are perhaps ambivalent?  Is one son more or less important than a sister and a niece?  And how important that a son might call a step mom “a stupid cunt”?  😉

Only a fool would look to politicians for moral leadership.  The fact that politicians descend to these arguments to gain votes simply highlights their fundamental dishonesty, no?

You are a trusting guy Mick. I recall Lois Lerner and the deliberate effort to undermine tax free status for right leaning groups. In today’s political environment, see DoJ, Stanford Internet agency’s complicity with th administration in limiting free speech rights, I doubt the focus of the increased budgetary authorization will be entirely benign.
