She`s the boss and unless you are a Dem partisan with no regard to the rule of law, Republicans do not leak illegally as a pretty strong rule and precedent.  Haspel would know anyway and retribution would be sure and swift.  No doubt Trump regrets ever appointing her.

Will it affect the race with Tillis?  That is my only concern.

I know you were shocked at how tough Lester Holt was with Biden at the so called Town Hall.  Biden was shaking in his boots at the incisive and discerning questions leveled at him.

If a 3rd pops her head, possibly we would have the makings of a sitcom.

Barr has zero access to CIA documents and cannot release any documents from the FBI he has no knowledge of.

Sorry to burst anyone`s bubble but sometimes we all miss certain things that have been in our face forever.  I myself only discovered a few years ago after 40 some odd years of political involvement that over 80% of all traditional polls have built in Dem oversampling.  It has always been that way and I can only assume it is because a certain result is the desired outcome.  Even Fox is guilty of it.  Especially Fox for whatever reason.  Learn to read the polling fine print for each poll.  It took me forever to realize what was happening.  Have you ever seen a poll that under sampled Democrats vs. the final outcome?  I cannot remember one.

With regard to Florida, I can only tell you that Trump support among Hispanics and blacks is much higher than in 2016.  If Trump were to lose Florida, it would be because he loses white support.  In addition, the two corrupt election officials that ran Dade and Broward counties, the two big Dem dominated counties in S. Florida that include Miami and vicinity have been removed and replaced by our governor so I do not expect any more voting hanky panky as we have had in the past.  My county St. Johns is the most Republican in the state.  I can only tell you anecdotally that I see 20 Trump/Pence signs for every Biden/Harris sign anywhere and everywhere I go in this county.  A few weeks ago my wife and I spent a few days at a great B&B in Nassau county (Fernandina, Amelia Island) and we saw dozens of Trump signs and only one Biden sign in 48 hours.  FWIW, we were the only occupants of this great 11 bedroom/10 bath Victorian B and B midweek and will go back again.  Fantastic place. We stayed in the Princess Amelia room.

I saw the game and listened to Leach post game.

Leach was mostly happy with his D but the O led by Costello was “over exuberant”.   Costello’s stats were great but with the game on the line, a combination of bad luck, questionable decisions and poor judgement by Costello cost them a game they would win 90% of the time.  Twice within the 20 and another 2 times within the 10, Costello either threw a poor pass or poor pass into coverage or a short run on 4th down was turned back by a good call on D, all during the last 18 minutes of the game.

Leach gave the team the tools and game plan to win easily but instead of having patience and taking what the D gave them with its 8 man coverage D, Costello kept getting impatient and throwing downfield into the strength of the D.  The result was several interceptions at key game junctures.

Kudos to a great game plan execution by Arkansas and Costello should be criticized for not following Leach`s game plan as designed and exhibiting overconfidence or foolhardiness or both at times.  I just wish Costello and Leach had 2 or 3 years together.

The story, Neo, will someday be written.  But not in the US if Biden wins.  Ever.  Game, set , match.  We will be finished as a nation or at least as we once were. I am not a religious man but Jesus was once purported to have said “forgive them, for they know not what they do”.  In the name of my grandchildren and all they will have lost, I could never forgive.  Then again, I am not the son of God.

Just an incredible post but not a singular one these days.  Government employees hoping for a government takeover, socialism, rampant crime, bureaucracy and more horrible climate policies that have burned California to a crisp.  Not what we really need to hear during this horrible time of crisis. Maybe the anti capitalists will decide to cut government pensions in half that are grossly too high and share them with illegal immigrants who will be pouring across the border unscathed and in need of promised free health care for which citizens who could not pay were threatened with government fines and/or imprisonment under Obama.  Beats hell out of wealth taxes. All in the name of Trump hatred.  WE ALL THINK TRUMP IS OBNOXIOUS BUT HE IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF COMMON SENSE.    People as old as we are should have more sense, at least enough sense to hold off the under educated products of our left wing teachers who do not know any better and think socialism and reparations are liberating.  Mind boggling.  If what Biden, Sanders, Harris and the other whack jobs promise is what California bureaucrats and retirees want, elect Harris governor and secede from the US.  I for one will be ever grateful  And take the new Pac 12 social engineers with them along with any and all athletic teams for which my financial support is forever gone.

And Rassmussen has always been the most accurate poll or in the top 2 for over a decade.

Maybe it is time for the South to secede from the union again all in the name of common sense.  At least those who break laws, destroy property and attempt murder will be held to account. I guarantee it would be a better place for minorities to live in than Soros run places like Baltimore, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and Portland.

Where was the outrage when Biden and Wallace interrupted NINE TIMES before Trump jumped into the game and characteristically over played his hand to his embarrassment?  Double standards in the media.  Double standards everywhere.

Where is the outrage over Cunningham’s behavior in N. Carolina?  If Tillis had done what he did,  it would be 24 hour coverage on CNN and MSNBC and the networks.  Not a frickin` peep except on Fox and the new liberal Fox has hardly touched it except on the opinion shows and there only briefly.  Amazing.  If GR and others get what they want, the genie will be let out of the bottle and will never be put back in.  And these are the most intelligent among us.  I give up.  By the time my grandchildren are my age, we may have 237 Supreme Court Justices.  Think about it.  Some system of checks and balances and disregard for the wonder and beauty of the Constitution.  Go Democrats.

All I know is that Mike Leach is a better football coach than David Shaw.  The SEC has made the decision to drop 8 to counteract the air raid.  All I remember is our guys trying to match up with single coverage.  I could be wrong.

    Alternative Schedule:

    Palo Alto HS

    Slippery Rock

    Oral Roberts

    Radcliffe

    Loyola Marymount

    LaSalle HS

There is a good chance we could win at least 3 games though we would be underdogs in 4.

Ugh.  Could anyone dislike Newsom, Muir and company more than I do?

I think not.  Maybe we will be lucky and Shaw will sit out the season like Adebo.

David Shaw’s comments on KJ’s performance speaks not only volumes but defines history.  With one minute of conversation, his commentary begs many questions.

He says he knew KJ would put up big numbers in Leach`s system.  OK.  So why was KJ unable to put up big numbers in Shaw’s own system?  Is that an admission of poor O design and concept?  Does he think Mississippi State has more talent around KJ?  Does he think the competition was easier for KJ at Mississippi State than Stanford?  The SEC conference weaker?

He says KJ will be a great professional QB.  OK.  I thought Shaw ran a derivative of Bill Walsh`s pro style O?  Why was KJ only marginally successful here at Stanford.  Shaw mentions injuries but KJ played for three years.  KJ put up record shattering numbers against a defending national champion in his very first game under Leach.  Think about that.

Although he did not say it, this is what his answer really means:

1:  Leach runs a high powered O designed to score a bunch of points and gain a lot of yards, striking quickly and is willing to put his D on the spot and just try to outscore the competition.  Exciting.

2:  In contrast, Shaw’s Offense is designed for ball control, chew clock, not put the onus on the D, get ahead and hold on.  If necessary, gear it down in the second half, not be aggressive, not go after more points so that mistakes will not be made. Boring.

3:  In essence, Leach plays to score 100% of the time while Shaw plays not to lose by not being aggressive with a lead.  Costello is a great fit for Leach.  His gambling, aggressive style was never a fit for David Shaw and is why he left.  What happened against Oklahoma St, UCLA, SDSU where we tried to sit on leads or play a Shaw percentage is the boring, staid style of a coach who puts a premium on not losing by gearing down athletic aggression vs. playing to win.  It is unattractive to top athletes who want to play football, not chess.

4:  Shaw always knows what is best, come hell or high water.  He is staid, boring, predictable and refuses to accept his O is passe and not at the level of the best O`s in college football.  The result is diminishing recruiting effectiveness, diminishing loyalty of the players to stay in the program, diminishing ability to compete with guys like Mike Leach and the best programs in the land.  We are returning to mediocrity.

Like it or not, guys like Saban, Riley, Day, Leach and Cristobal are where it is at in college football.  They grow, evolve, change coaches when necessary.  Those coaches play to win and the athletes flock to them.  Shaw plays not to lose and our recruiting is going downhill.  We are doomed to mediocrity if Shaw stays as HC and maintains his position as O coordinator.  We will just not attract the guys Harbaugh attracted because of the concept.  Why would they come unless academics were paramount?  Would you come to Stanford if a great athlete to play Shaw’s style of football?  I for one would not.  Great athletes will identify with a philosophy, a concept for a football program.  Guys identified with Harbaugh when he was here. He was aggressive, played to win, had a wide open O. Those same guys do not identify with David Shaw`s concept anymore and they are going to other programs preferentially.

The debates are playing second fiddle to reality this election.

Our strength as a nation that has given us the means to survive all this time is the Constitution.  We have checks and balances.  Integral to those checks and balances is the filibuster , the Supreme Court and a limit on Executive power.

If you get rid of the filibuster and the 60 vote requirement to being up a bill, the party that controls the Senate has carte blanche to do anything it wants if it has the House and Presidency.  If you pack the Supreme Court with activists, you can declare anything lawful that is passed whether it is constitutional or not.  Adding two more blue states would be easy without a filibuster and with a packed court and will ensure a Dem majority for years to come.

When this happens, you have effectively overthrown the government of the US and we become a dictatorship bureaucracy as any part of the Constitution can be circumvented. Checks and balances do not exist anymore.

Biden will not answer the filibuster of court packing question.  By definition, hate Trump or not, whoever votes for Biden this time around is by definition a revolutionary who wants to overthrow the government we have had here in the US for well over 240 years.

We all should be incredibly fearful because we are 34 days away from something happening that we once thought would take Russian troops invading the US to accomplish.

Laura Ingraham’s guest Ari Fleischer did not like the constant interruptions during the debate.  He faulted Trump for his interruptions but he did point out the first three interruptions were by Biden during Trump`s second speaking stint and that Trump got pissed off and began interrupting Biden consistently from that point forward.  The media ignored the fact that Biden started the debate down that road.
