      Really an interesting read, especially noting that we have the highest utility rates in the country (except perhaps HI, though that’s now debatable).

      Just returned from a data center conference, and good lord, we are screwed from a grid standpoint. AI alone will require 2-5X the amount of power data centers are currently consuming. The demand will be so great, every option for power generation is being considered, even coal. . . .

      Good luck California with your move to electrification and ridiculously high power rates. Where is the new Mecca? West Texas due to high winds, lots of sun, and little regulations. . . . . .

      It’s easier to do politics if you are really bad at math. The grid issue is math.

      Math is racist. It must be decolonized, because power is the only thing that can remedy racism. And power is best manifested by taking people’s money through taxation and inflation and laundering it in a manner that keeps Democrats in power.
