      The ACC delayed their vote to admit Stanford, Cal and SMU because of a shooting on the UNC campus (UNC was one of the four ACC schools that had voted against admitting the CA and TX schools as members). It wasn’t because of a mass shooting, turns out that a 34 year old grad student shot his academic advisor. Both were from the PROC. They had co-authored research papers, and published one last month. Tragic. Very glad there were no more victims.
