The Nation (the magazine) turns on its own:
When Will the Senate Democrats Ever Learn?
I heard Peter Zeihan, among others, talk at length at how the Democrats are in complete disarray.
They shouldn’t be. They didn’t lose by that much. But they’re acting like a bunch of spoiled kids.
Opinion: Actually, Democrats are not in disarray
The Democrats’ real problem, says The Atlantic, is that they have a “man” problem.
Democrats Have a Man Problem
They do, but there’s a real problem, embedded in this article. To quote:
The Democrats need to…embrace rather than scold masculinity.
Well, no shit. The whole “toxic masculinity” thing was so overdone, and it’s so emblematic of the left, they’ve basically disrespected men for the better part of two generations. And now that they’ve abandoned the Working Man…well.
And to further quote Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D) of Mass., he says:
“No one wants to hear men talk about masculinity…we’re not going to orient society’s decision making to the cognitive worldview of a 16-year old male.”
So, if I understand this, Democrats equate masculinity to the thoughts and feelings of 16 year olds. And the Dems wonder why they have a problem with men.
Senator Chris Murphy (D) Conn. says the party doesn’t even want to talk about the need to improve the lives of men because it will “run afoul of the ‘world police’ on the Left.”
