When Mrs. Mick and I were first married, we lived in a cool art deco house in Southgate, just off of the Stanford campus. We left the heater on one cold night, and it made some funny sound, so we called the HVAC and he said it was pumping out pure carbon monoxide and we were lucky to be alive.
So, Mrs. Mick learned the wrong lesson. Never turn your heater on. We only have one refrigerator. Haven’t used the A/C in months. We had a Xmas tree inside, and a few decorations outside. 3 BR, 2 BA, 1,500 square feet. Regular refrigerator.
And our PG&E bill was over $1,000 last month.
