      This is written by the head of Santa Cruz’s Republican party. Full disclosure, I know and like the man, and I grew up in the rat’s nest that is Santa Cruz, starting in 1974. My dad owned a health food store there, he still lives there as do two of my five siblings.

      In “Ten Reasons to Feel Good about the National Election” he basically advises Lefties to get past the Left’s talking points, understand what the incoming administration is all about, and realize that it’s not the end of the world:

      If you don’t want to read the article, here are the 10 reasons:

      1. Californians will get more water.
      2. Traffic will get better.
      3. Santa Cruz will be safer.
      4. Californians, including residents of Santa Cruz County, will be raised out of poverty.
      5. Hate homelessness? The free market does as well.
      6. Santa Cruz County students will have a better shot at being competitive in a global world.
      7. Reproductive rights are not foreclosed; they have simply been relegated to the states.
      8. The upcoming administration admires women.
      9. The incoming administration knows how to restructure debt.
      10. The upcoming administration isn’t anti-immigration.
