Right now, California has the second highest seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the country at 5.5%.
Guess which state has the most Federal employees? That’s right, California has 253,600 Federal employees, basically the same as real estate businesses, warehouses and physician offices. It’s a big number.
Trump doesn’t like California and he doesn’t want Federal employment. What are the odds that California isn’t hit with significant Federal employee RIFs?
