Will the Biden debate handlers demand that Barrack have a podium on stage too? Sort of a “third party fact checker”, watching out for that platinum legacy of his? Did you see the two of them preening in their streaming fund raiser…congratulating themselves that they never failed to own adverse outcomes? They took responsibility like real leaders! How many times did they blame Bush? Who was it who didn’t know shit about what was going on in his administration until he read about it in the N.Y. Times or the Post? The “three monkey” approach to ownership of adverse outcomes? Further, I recall a jocular approach to major policy failures and government waste; “I guess those jobs weren’t so shovel ready”.
15 weeks to go and we haven’t heard, “gentlemen, start your engines” yet. For me, I think this time of the cycle is fantastic. We once again get to see in full relief the extent of the contempt that politicians have for the citizenry. “The Orange One is the FIRST racist president in our history.” Is that Biden classic worse than, “If you don’t vote for me, you ain’t black!”
Compare the quality of these Biden arguments with the reflections of the Portland PD officer you linked. Striking contrast Lex, no?
