How many illegal aliens are criminals?

I’ve heard and read the numbers, so have you…13,000 murderers, 14,000 other felons…and I have yet to have a Lefty explain to me why we shouldn’t be alarmed at allowing those people into our country.

Turns out I was wrong.

Johnson says there are 3 to 4 million ‘dangerous’ migrants. Not even close.

As of July 21, 2024, acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement director P.J. Lechleitner said, there were 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories — about one-third with pending charges — on ICE’s national docket.

There’s more:

• 1.9 million removable criminal aliens. That’s a 2013 figure, but it also includes lawfully present noncitizens in the United States who are convicted of serious crimes, meaning they lost their right to remain in the country. The Migration Policy Institute estimated that about 43 percent were in the United States illegally, reducing the number to about 800,000. The ICE figure of 660,000 is more current.
• 1.2 million cases in which undocumented immigrants used fraudulent Social Security numbers. Identity theft is a serious crime with real victims — such as children or poor adults with little credit history — but this is also a dated number from 2017, though it continues to be cited in congressional reports. It’s possible the number is higher — or lower — now.
• 1.1 million suspected instances of asylum fraud. There have been nearly 1.6 million defensive asylum claims over the past three fiscal years (2022-2024). A 2014 estimate found that 70 percent were proved to be fraudulent or had strong indicators of fraud, yielding a figure of 1.1 million. (Only about 15 percent of cases result in a grant of asylum.)

How did it get this bad? And this was written from someone sympathetic  to illegal aliens! How much worse is the actual situation?
