I know of one retired judge in a blue State who will be disappointed in that opinion. That said, I agree with him the growing disparity in income between the very rich and middle class will need to be addressed at some point which was the point of his wealth tax as presented on this board and the Bootleg. The problem is real but possibly the answer lies in the area of deduction elimination above certain income levels along with more enlightened inheritance taxes.
