      Lefties are pushing for the shutdown, they don’t like the negotiated stopgap bill. Democratic moderates like Senator Hickenlooper say that a shutdown will give Trump even more power. Why play into his hands?

      “I don’t understand how anyone can support a bill that would give Donald Trump the opportunity to fire another 25,000 veterans and take away nursing home spots from tens of thousands of seniors, all so that the Republicans can give $4.7 trillion in giveaways to billionaires and billionaire corporations,” Warren said before the meeting.

      Bless her heart, that Liz Warren can sure check all the boxes.

      I agree with this. This is a terrible CR. Need to take out a bunch of things.

      I’ve got no issues. Stop gap measure for now. Real negotiations on the budget to come. Then it’s time to pay the piper. . . .
