Native Americans don’t like the new Commanders name for the Washington football team. Instituted in 2022, it replaced the racist “Redskins.”
This complaint says the new Commanders name is even more racist, because it describes the people who killed the native Americans. Furthermore, 90% of all native Americans actually liked the “Redskins” team name.
