Why optimists may have the last laugh on Iran

one view of many.  Personally, I feel that at some point it is the right thing to stop–once and for all–Iran’s pursuit of a nuclear weapon;  this is obviously open to debate.  I also feel the US has bungled at least some of the execution of the current effort, although the complexity is so high hard not to err “in the fog of war”.  At any rate, I am impressed with how the world has adjusted, and I anticipate many more adjustments going forward (more energy diversity, pipelines and rail lines in the middle east, etc.).
