Thought I’d let you know that the Big 10 (horseshit name with more than 10) has cancelled the season with hopes to play in spring.

Pac 12 reportedly following suit today or tomorrow. My Big Game streak stays alive at 65.

Going to be interesting to see what happens with the other fall sports. I assume they’re toast as well. Hopefully in the spring.

This will give the players more time to organize and push for revenue sharing. . . .

Heard this morning the Power 5 Conference commissioners had a video conference about fall sports.  No announcement out of the meeting, but implication is there will be no fall sports.

Wise decision. Still too many unknowns and instability out there. By the Spring, hopefully there will be vaccines, the election will be out of the way and the hysteria will be dying down.

I agree with you and Lex; right decision. It is aligned with the NCAA’s core mission; provide student athletes with the opportunity to obtain rigorous acedemic training while enjoying competitive challenges on the field of play.

I bet 99%+ of these kids are looking forward to a semester where their undivided attention can be focused on their classroom work!  Delaying/diminishing the paycheck…a non issue
