The current administration wants to ban Chinese and Russian components inside of connected vehicles on U. S. roads.
How late are we to that particular party? As of 2012, the Chinese supplied military components to the American Dept of Defense and over 1 million parts were found to be counterfeit.
11 years later, Govini produced a government scorecard in 2023 that indicated that there are 12 critical technologies, and while the U. S. Government is banned from directly contracting with numerous Chinese companies, our military contractors (from biotech to hypersonics to nuclear modernization) still rely heavily on prohibited Chinese suppliers.
