The U. S. News & World Report just published their annual list of the top American universities. Stanford comes in at #3. Lots of good data.

Caucasian students down to 26% of the total, always a good sign, as Asian students are now neck and neck with Caucasians at 26%. The 2020 U. S. Census bureau statistics lists the American Caucasian population at 75.5% (58.9% non-Hispanic) and the Asian percentage of the population now at 6.3%.

One more fun population fact. You may have seen this Jeff Daniels speech on why America is not the greatest country…he responds with a long list of why the USA is not the greatest country, that we only lead in defense spending, incarcerated population and adults who believe in angels. And not the Anaheim Angels. No one believes in them.

Well, Jeff…we lead the world in people who want to get in here. I’d say that makes us the greatest country in the world. As of 2015, our foreign born population was 45.785 million, which was the total foreign born population of the next five countries with the most foreign born population.
