MickParticipantApparently that’s an issue now.
It’s the Summer of Too Much Skin at the Office – WSJ
I had an employee in our New York office who insisted on wearing micro-mini “skirts” and was attempting to engineer a harassment lawsuit. The office manager asked me if I could speak with her…ah, no. Middle-aged white male cannot tell a young female what to wear…but she could, as I pointed out.
No one ever told her to stop, and happily, the craziest CMO in my business ended up hiring her away from the firm.

LegendKeymasterI luckily run a business that’s small enough that I can tel whomever whatever.
I had an analyst who was an attractive tall slender blond Russian gal. She went to a client site with a black bra under a sheer white top. I wasn’t comfortable with the conversation but basically told her to cover up. Probably a lawsuit in a bigger company.

An attractive young lady interviewed for an admin job (20 years ago.) I thought her email address looked like a web address. Yep- Full on lingerie model.Fortunately, she disqualified herself by answering her cell phone a second time after I asked her to turn it off during the interview.
Thinking back to my first office job in ’73, micro minis were a thing. 🙂

Even my Second Wave Feminist diehard mother wore those back then. She’d be about thirty at the time.
