      This article says TSA lines are so long, that people are hiring line sitters.

      TSA lines are so out of control that travelers are hiring line-sitters

      I was in a regular security line at JFK about half an hour ago. I made sure I got here three and a half hours early, I heard the nightmare stories. The line took 15 minutes. My wife and son, who have TSA pre-check, took eight minutes.

      So now I’ll sit here for three hours…

      Flew to San Jose Friday, returned Sunday evening.  Even with spring break, the wait time was something like 2 minutes.

      Full disclosure, I have TSA PRE, but the regular screening line in Portland was shorter than TSA PRE/

      Same is generally true in San Jose or was for the first two years after COVID.

      Houston was a disaster last friday.  I think a lot of variability by specific airport
