      That isn’t the topic or the thrust of Peggy Noonan’s article. The thrust is actually the opposite, she doesn’t want him to run, doesn’t think he should run for all of the obvious reasons.

      But she also clearly notes that if he dropped out, a dozen Democratic governors, senators and congress members would jump into the fray, and it would be a race to the far left. And unlike the (supposedly) moderate Biden, there’s no guarantee that the winner of the Democratic nomination would be anything other than a far-left party hack.
