Given the  crowd of Republican hopefuls, it looks like Trump has the inside track to the nomination, assuming his legal issues don’t derail his efforts. I thought DeSantis was a capable leader. If it was solely Trump vs. DeSantis, DeSantis might have stood a chance. Now…not sure.

Time for all the Pollyanna who gave us Biden to snap out of it and vote for the agent of change that was Trump globally and domestically. As Reagan would say, “ask yourself, are you better off the last 4 years?” Neither we nor the globe is as well off as we were under Orange. The deep state, MSM and demtards will keep trying to destroy him, yet here we are.

“I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I

I do not believe Trump can win the general election and, even if he does, will not be able to repeat the magic of his first term.  He has pushed away the people who helped him and labeled them RINO’s.  He does not understand how to begin dismantling the administrative state and badly underestimates the seriousness of the national financial dilemma.

I’ll vote for him if he’s the nominee, but I’d prefer someone else.  I’m just concerned that the hard core Trumpers are so obsessed that they might let someone else lose.  Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!!!

I like Trump’s policies, for the most part. Good internationally, good on the border, good economically. I don’t like the guy and the baggage he carries. Anybody else on the Republican side would have a much easier road to the White House. Will I vote for him in the primaries? No. Would I vote for him in the general? Yes. Would rather him get beat by someone on the right, first. But by whom? Who has the energy and charisma and the policies? Scott maybe? DeSantis just seems a little bland. . . .

There are several strong GOP candidates in terms of their vision and the ability to articulate it.  I have been surprised and impressed by Tim Scott since he announced.  He has a stronger message than I have ever heard him express before from his position in the Senate.  I don’t think DiSantis is bland.  Effectiveness is not boring.  And I am paying attention to Vivek Ramaswamy.  Very strong handle on the facts and is focused on the most important issues.  A ticket of DiSantis/Ramaswamy might result in 16 years of GOP dominance.  If you’d be into that sort of thing.  🤗

The social security  actuarial life table tells us that Biden has a 14% chance of dying before the election; Trump 10%. That implies the likelihood of a second Trump Biden matchup is less than 78% based simply on mortality. Factoring in the risk of further public exposure of Biden’s past criminal activities, Trump’s ongoing battles with political elements of large governmental institutions and the slings and arrows of opponents in the nominating process and who knows?  I don’t, but I’d guess the chance of Trump/Biden part duex is less than 50/50; perhaps significantly less?

All I know is the Republican field is far stronger than the Democrats.  However the Democrats are far superior in ballot harvesting and the creation of ineligible ballots.
