      Count me as disappointed.   the US 250th transcends current politics, despite the attempts of many to “leverage” it.  I purchased a shirt and multiple pins, and will wear them proudly!

      My parents were around for the bicentennial. There was a lot of patriotism and celebration.

      The WNBA and the NWSL compete for who can cave to the craziest members of society. Notice in the USA Today article, the “questions being raised” started with journalists planting the seeds. Then the players union started running with it. Nneka being involved is sad.

      I was in grade school for the bicentennial.  Loved it–learned history, patriotic songs in music class, every box of Cheerios had historic flags . . . and that was in the somewhat depressing aftermath of our Vietnam embarrassment and the “oil crisis”.
