The most accurate poll in the recent presidential election, the AtlasIntel poll shows that Trump has a 52.7% approval rating in the 18-29 age group, a/k/a Gen Z. In January, their Trump approval rating was just 41.3%. The overall approval rating of Trump in January 2 was 50.1%, rising to 50.3% in February.

I came of age in Santa Cruz in the late 1970s and its high liberal/hippie concentration permeated the town. And yet…a lot of us 18 year olds were Reagan supporters. I cast my first Presidential vote for Ronald Reagan, and he was a very popular president.
Trump, like Reagan, is moving fast to erase Democratic policies prevalent in 14 of the last 17 years. For better or worse, they will have a massive impact.

Either he’ll be able to pull it off…or he won’t. Funding for the government is available until March 14…Congress needs to come to an agreement between now and then, but the Democrats are threatening to shut down government. I don’t think that will hurt Trump’s feelings.
