Good for her. I wonder if that is part of the Biden VP audition. More Big city mayors need to speak up like she did. Having a white guy in the Senate say the same thing won’t reach anyone that should hear this.
the whole damn thing comes down to hospital availability, not the number of cases. I just watch hospital availability and when Texas suspends elective surgeries…the writing is on the wall.
correctomundo RM. Or Georgia or Florida.  one of the sites I follow tracks exactly that and Texas hospitalizations have some room to go.
True Legend. In a lot of ways, it’s all a guessing game. Which makes it that much more frustrating. And worrisome
if one looks hard enough, one can find a lot of information to ease one’s mind. I monitor a couple of sites. In summary and as of Friday: cases up, deaths down, hospitalizations still low, hospital ICU capacity still very high, ie no threat of being overwhelmed. TL hits the issue on the head.

it is much less of a guessing game now. What I find appalling is that the authorities, who have all the data won’t share with the rest of us, but are satisfied to keep us guessing and anxious. They are either incompetent or treat us ignoramuses like mushrooms.

One more thing, I followed the Rocky/TC conflagration. For you moderating Legend.

Rocky said something about Zucker at CNN. He actually used an obscure concentration camp so by ignorance I moved on. And I knew the Rock was not an anti Semite in his heart. But TC and Rosco objected to the post and Rocky went on hiatus for a while. Now, we are back here as a big happy family.

Ok gents. First happy fourth to all.

The woke hypocrites that Legend refers to have a simplistic view of things:

T Dome all old white guys. Guilty

T Dome, most of us are right of center. Guilty.

T Dome some of us defend and Most of us agree with the Orange one. Guilty.

T Dome, most of us believe in America’s exceptionalism. Guilty.

Irreverence is a trait that is appreciated in the Dome. Guilty

Crimson is correct. The two posters ( I think it is the same guy, but I digress) he mentions were out of line a couple of times. Most of us ignored them anyway and it was Doc’ s prerogative to keep them were he so inclined. Still,  I refuse to be defined by people who post on the same board. That is hogwash and BC/ Akidoc should be smarter than that.
there is no question we are safer with trumpo at the helm. His calm guiding hand has reminded me of Eisenhower’s steady leadership. And besides that, he re-tweets all the coolest videos.

Indeed Roscoe, once again your experience serves you well as you share your thinking about the Orange One. I bet you’ve found that your clients never care about the results at trial in the cases you handle. They are paying happily for your style, your good looks, your manners & and your cool motions and objections! I’m curious, are you able to you sell courtroom photos taken with your clients like the political types do? What’s your rate for a suitable portrait?[/qu

You were here to remember the Eisenhower steady hand. I though you were younger than me?

This is a very dynamic environment and I agree with your percentages today PL. But will Joe stay at 80% if he doesn’t go out in public and campaign. BTW, I am not criticizing the strategy. It is ingenious. As long as it is a referendum on trump, the Orange one loses, if there is a contrast made, he might survive.

On the positives, you forget the economy and deregulation. No small feat given the anemic growth of the previous six years.

count me in as one who wanted everything “ripped apart” or better a full political disruption like we have had in other segments of society. And I am fine with the outcome and accompanying elucidations ( yes Virginia, there is a deep state).

No one is going to piece anything back together. it is broken and will only get worse. If Trump is re-elected the Resistance will get more extreme. And if Biden wins, I don’t expect the 40% to go away quietly. Further polarization’s and a serious internal conflict at a future time.

Are you implying Moscow Mitch will keep the Senate in Rs hands. If so take me through the math, state by state.

Doesn’t sound like him to do nothing about stuff like that. He is very pro military, But, again, Russia, unnamed sources, NYT. Who knows.
