cardcrimsonParticipantFire still smoldering. Six minor injuries, no loss of life, fortunately. One of my daughter’s best friend’s dad is a senior engineer there. Going to be tough around here without that refinery online. . . .
cardcrimsonParticipantSaw a clip last night of an anchor saying the same to Vance. Incredibly stupid people. He can’t wave a hand and lower prices, although pausing government funding in large areas of the economy might just help.
cardcrimsonParticipantHeard on KCBS radio this morning that there is another move afoot for California to secede from the Union. The reasoning? Trump and MAGA.
How perfect would that be. Become independent and be governed by Kamala. Exactly what the state deserves.
cardcrimsonParticipantIf there were ever a case for criminal negligence in government, this would be it.
cardcrimsonParticipant“Just wanted to wish you all a belated welcome to the new American oligarchy.
How soon will it be before we look like Hungary and Russia, where the media and our institutions are controlled by the executive branch?”
Stopped reading after that. You’re joking, right? The media and our institutions have been controlled by the executive branch, well at least the democrats for a generation or more. Trump is working to reverse that.
cardcrimsonParticipantHere’s the link to Johnson’s interview regarding Biden’s acuity.
cardcrimsonParticipantThanks Mick. Great stuff. Knew about 1 and 2, happy to hear about 3. Think I suggested that a few weeks back–glad to see them looking at it. Heard today that many Dems are starting to come out of the woodwork, noting that Biden wasn’t in command of his faculties. Interesting that the articles I read early this am, didn’t mention Schiff, so surprised he got one, as well. They are in a real quandary. Hope AOC is in one, as well. . . .

cardcrimsonParticipantThat is why Trump will have attorneys go to court to void all of his executive orders of the last several months or so. He didn’t know what he was signing. . . .
cardcrimsonParticipantGreat take by Maher. . . .Thanks for sharing!
cardcrimsonParticipantHilarious!
cardcrimsonParticipantStunning, but not surprising. Then again, there wasn’t enough water for the five firetrucks that they sent. . . .

cardcrimsonParticipantGR, Saw your post on the other site, and knew you’d be warned. I was banned during Covid. Why, because I didn’t toe the company line. Didn’t matter that I had 30+ years in HVAC and Indoor Air Quality and knew that most of the crap the powers that be were pushing would prove to be completely wrong. Facts didn’t matter, it was all about the narrative. My favorite was a poster who kept insisting that Trump was intentionally trying to kill people to enhance his election chances. He stayed, I was banned. To this day, one of the Mods still has me blocked so I can’t even solicit advice on what’s appropriate to post.
cardcrimsonParticipantNewsom blasts Trump for making the fires political, after his photo ops with Biden. Then today post on his website, not on the state’s or the governor office’s, a page to combat disinformation about the fires. Of course it’s propaganda promoting what a great job he’s done as governor. What a douche bag.
cardcrimsonParticipantHeard it live. Couldn’t believe it. . . .What a moron.
cardcrimsonParticipantThis has been unbelievable. Bass, Newsom and Biden’s responses have been stunning. “The good news is I had a great grand-daughter”. Can anyone be so out of touch?
That they have no water is stunning. They live alongside a freaking ocean. If they want to save smelt in the Delta, at least back up the fire supply with seawater. It’s not the tough to figure out.
This event should flip CA to red, but it won’t. People are morons.
