St Helen’s happened freshman year, with a guy in my dorm from Vancouver Washington. He couldn’t believe a mountain he’d spent a lot of time on blew up. . . .

Well, treason is still on the table. . . .

The Biden crime family lives on. Pardon for his brother coming soon, as well as for Jill for elder abuse.

An old concept. Thousands of years old, by the way:

and more recently, a Broadway play (written by the cousin of a friend’s wife):

Not good imo. No clue when we sent long range missiles to Ukraine. Didn’t know it. . . .

Thanks Mick. A quick anecdote from Tuesday, I voted in person in CA, and had to select my name from a computer screen for the paperwork. Proud to see my daughter’s name below mine, as she turned 18 two weeks ago. Surprised to see my mom’s name below my daughters. Sadly my mom died 5 years ago, but apparently can still vote . . . .

“More than 4,000 of their posts went further by encouraging members to act by attending local election meetings, joining protest rallies and making financial donations, the analysis found.”

Unthinkable actions that the right is encouraging. Thank heavens that the NYT has uncovered them.

On a side note, I voted this morning in person. No ID required, just provide a name. On the list of registered voters to select from on the computer screen, my mom’s name was just below mine and my daughters. Sadly she died five years ago.
First, it is bewildering why Republicans can’t mount a cohesive strategic attack on Biden/Harris and stop with the name calling. Make libs actually discuss policy while reminding voters that all the bad things they predicted in 2016 failed to materialize, and 2024 is no different. The left’s fixation on Project 2025 is telling. If MSM were tracking lies and misstatements like they do with Trump, Project 2025 would barely draw a peep. No mention that it is the work of a think tank in existence for 40 years. Puzzling is the Right’s silence with regards to liberal policy think tanks like the Center for American Progress. In my opinion, that alone would move the needle for a few moderates and independents.
Don’t forget the Green New Deal, that Kamala co-sponsored. . ..
I am not moved by polls, but it’s amazing to me that the Democrats haven’t been skewered more for the Biden subterfuge. His decline is profound and absent the early debate they would still have the charade carrying on.
In a normal society, that subterfuge would be criminal. It still should be. He still holds the keys to the kingdom.
Mrs. Mick graduated magna cum laude from our alma mater with a degree in Finance and she loves the guy. She likes to have political discussions in public with liberals and progressives. Her style is more prosecutor than liberal…she asks questions that libs and progs can’t answer until they’re wriggling in the grip of reason, so to speak.
Love that!

Legend, first and foremost I’m glad you’re safe and sound. Wife and I were married at Montreat, not for from Asheville. The devastation is unimaginable. The government’s response has been awful. Didn’t even think about the “public’s” response. Katrina was tough, no doubt. This is just as bad. To rodpodge’s point, where’s the media? Where’s Hollywood? Shameful. Prayers are with the folks there, and their kin elsewhere.
