I walked into a local smoothie bar and bought a smoothie last week. I didn’t even ask about price. I figured 10 bucks was par.

    13 bucks. For a smoothie.

The smoothie was good but I won’t be back.

Amazing to see that Trump was at 48% approval at this point in 2020. Then, the pandemic took off, Dems encouraged riots in the streets, and Trump was turned into evil incarnate by the press.

History shows that vice presidents play a bit role. They range from useful displays of competence (think Dick Cheney) to mere insurance policies (Kamala) to actively dismissed but politically necessary (Truman hardly ever met with Roosevelt).

I think Joe Biden is a relatively small man who views his VP position with Obama as somehow a favor he did Barack.  These reports on his needs to compare to his former commander in chief are instructive:  the man knows that Barack was right in his assessment.

We have a better court thanks to the Trump administration.  That was my rationale for voting for Trump, and to this day it stands true.  A court with three more liberal justices like sotomayor, who seems not to even have a judicial philosophy outside of her politics, would be a disaster for regular Americans.

There is political hay to be made on the overturn of Roe, but the reality is that the court only sent the issue back to the states. This was the correct move, and the one that should constitutionally be done more often.

Oh he took a bump or a hit of something.  He was yelling like a madman out there.

Also, he kept saying he has reduced the deficit.  It’s a fascinating thing, how the Dems treat the pandemic and the spending within it as business as usual.

I thought Haley’s showing was relatively strong.

I do think that we are seeing a hollowing out of the middle aisle.

I probably haven’t thought it through, but she probably would out Biden over the top if so. Manchin would have probably put trump over the top.

Hard for me to see how Trump’s actual policy agenda is more dangerous than the current agenda.

America loves a comeback. His bandwagon may fill up more still.

People easily forget that, despite the gnashing of teeth once Covid and the Floyd riots were in full sway, Trump was viewed as likely to be reelected.

Hard to believe that this is where we are now, but there is a swelling “anyone but Biden” vote as well.

It’s shocking, shocking that the proprietors of the plantation don’t want the slaves to leave it.

Did Kamala ever report on the root causes?  I seem to recall that was her responsibility early in the administration.

Sotomayor is “tired,” “traumatized” and “fighting.”

The language of a leftist never leaves us.
