rjnwmillParticipantRight you are Rocky. Talk about deja vu…the older I get the more I feel like I’m returning to grade school every four years for the election season. BS focus group tested narratives designed to obfuscate and dissemble. “A climate arsonist”, really?
With the very real problems we face with the ever increasing debt burden, I don’t see any candidate addressing the issue head on. Tax increases for bs, misguided inefficient government redistribution or tax cuts. Who do they think they’re kidding?

rjnwmillParticipantRocky, I read the article when you linked it previously. It seems supportive of my general thesis. Biden is Biden. He’s been grabbing with both hands for 47 years. Bloomberg, China, Ukraine oil interests, come one, come all. Just bring an open wallet.
They have a common commercial/military focus; bleed the US to weaken it. Guys like Bloomberg and Styer take the cash directly. China and others seek longer term strategic realignment. AOC & Bernie aren’t players. Their only roll is to lead the fringe sheep. They get patted on the head and get to sign documents. That won’t take you too far in DC. See Biden. How much does he talk about the squad?
But hey, what do I know?

rjnwmillParticipantYou’ll pardon me Rocky if I ask a simple question. Was it a Sanders’ guy or a middle of the road Wall Street type who just threw $100 million against the wall trying to change the outcome in your home state.
seems to me the senile one has a 47 year career of following the money…and Bernie ain’t got chips on the table.

Perfect system for bureaucrats. A solution to a big problem…the efficacy of which can’t be proven till you turn it loose.

rjnwmillParticipantRocky my friend, perhaps you’ve seen the heartfelt comments by the LA Sheriff after the shooting you highlighted in your post. For your information, this is the same fool who ceased all cooperation with the Feds on issues related to immigration several weeks ago. For a comfortable nickel this Sheriff has sold out those in his command. He’s put his officers at greater risk by keeping violent offenders in the community. But now he’s just so so sad.
Seems like a prototypical Biden supporter, no?

rjnwmillParticipantQuite a contrast to Muir’s own victimhood manifesto.
Either we’ve made remarkable progress re racial justice in the last 25 years or Muir is just another no performance politician. Although they surely ain’t mutually exclusive.

rjnwmillParticipantA fascinating pronouncement by the governor…
“The debate is over in terms of climate change,” said Newsom. “If you don’t believe that, just come to the state of California.”
“We’re gonna have to fast-track our efforts in terms of meeting our [clean energy] goals much sooner.”
A global “problem” that legislators and bureaucrats in Sacramento are going to address with fast-track “local solutions”?
The Paris Climate Accord was economic surrender. A massive wealth and competitiveness transfer to China, India and other developing countries. Thanks Obama. Simultaneously, participants here shared serious proposals based on global reforestation. Cheaper and faster.
So what does Newsom propose, useless local actions that further diminish the competitiveness of California…yea that’s the ticket. A very foolish man focused solely on personal political advancement. Newsom 2024! Thank goodness he’s a white male. He’s disqualified before he starts.

rjnwmillParticipantRocky, I’m more interested in where Adm Mike Rogers is and what he’s doing. He served as the head of the NSA from 2014 to 2019. The relevant time period for so many events.
What the hell does this agency do? What records are available from that massive facility that was recently built in Utah? If he isn’t the keys to the kingdom for Durham, why do we spend billions on the operations that Adm Rogers oversaw?

rjnwmillParticipantI find such “evangelicals“ amusing. Their commitment to their secular religious principles is oh so cute.
I just wish there was clear separation so this bs was kept from the public square. Force them to worship privately…and ban their public gatherings during the dangerous times of COVID-19.

rjnwmillParticipantThanks. Trey Gaudi states recently that he does not anticipate additional indictments beyond the initial charges against the low level attorney for evidence tampering.
After fools like Peter show their utter disregard for the institutional rules that limit their power, give free reign to their political prejudices, dissemble as to the record, ignore the report of the IG, sue their employer he writes a book to augment his cash flow and then asserts his willingness to return to “service”.
Deep state indeed.

rjnwmillParticipantThanks Legend. I had the same problem.
I followed the USC/Dornsife poll in 2016. It was spot on. I think they will be back in business post Labor Day.
We’ll see how they do this year. They were “right” in 2016 with their projection of a Trump victory…for the wrong reason. Their projection mirrored the electoral college win but their model was designed to forecast the popular vote.
They have brought in some new talent this cycle. From a think tank in Santa Fe and MIT.
