Interesting article. During the campaign, lefties insisted the economy was doing fine, often pointing to the stock market as proof. At least half the voters called BS.
Anyone who was purchasing groceries over the last 5 years knew the economy was a mess without input from partisans or Phds.
My own index is the BDBI. (Beeg Dawg Breakfast Index.) My benchmark – 3 egg Denver omelette, potatoes, coffee and toast is roughly double since 2019.
I haven’t trusted reported labor numbers for years, going back to Obama claims how many jobs were created coming out the 2008 recession. Two examples – Obama probably claimed x number of teachers jobs created in a Wisconsin school district. Problem was there were more “jobs” created than teachers. Another was in the construction industry. 3 part time jobs were counted as 3 jobs created, even if all 3 were filled by the same worker at different times.
Heard this on the news this morning.
If I were Trump, I would be on the phone to Zelensky and tell him if launches a long range missile strike against Russia, he will never receive a nickels worth of military support from the US again.
Raises an important question- When the US supply long range missiles to Ukraine?

I am not a conspiracy theory guy, but damn, I’m still waiting on any reasonable explanation for the difference. (Not counting voter fraud)

81M for Biden, 74M for Trump.

72M for Trump and 67M for Harris. Meaning nothing, it’s odd the difference in Bidens and Harris’s total is roughly the same number of votes Biden received in the this years primary.
More than curious is almost 15M voters who voted for Biden chose to sit this one out. 15M? Harris couldn’t even rally enough support from Biden’s base to win? How does that happen?
What’s sad is libs continue harping about the US running elections like a 3rd world country.

Want a blind spot – for four years dems hid Biden’s condition. He didn’t just lose his fastball 3 months ago.
Want another blind spot- the left calling out conservatives for supporting Trump, when the liberal candidate is so awful conservatives are faced with a choice of awful or empty. (Mick’s description). All of the bad things leftists predicted if Trump were elected in 2016 failed to happen. It will be the same again in this election, unless you want to count anticipated riots when Trump wins.

Interesting take. More to the point, it’s Harris pandering to Muslims. She is losing – if she has not out right lost – the Muslim vote in Michigan.
This election is shaping up to look like the last two. No one is voting FOR either candidate, they are voting against a candidate.
Trump could win this election by the largest margin since Reagan rolled Carter if he only slightly less offensive. I can’t wait for this election to be over.
The media set her up to fail? How about her own handlers set her to fail by refusing to let interviewers ask the obvious question. Talk about missing the elephant in the room! How do you not anticipate that question?
She would be better off to say that night was an awakening for her and she stepped in to save Biden’s legacy. No one would believe her, but at least she’s got a plausible response to the question.
