cardcrimsonParticipant
The endless rationalizations are amusing and amazing.
No rationalization from me at all. Just a comment regarding your “guarantee” how Trump would behave after a zero chance hypothetical.
How this for rationalization, Trump was indeed right. The election was stolen. That said, he pointed at the wrong culprits. It was stolen by the tacit collusion amongst the media, the social media giants and the Dems. “By any means necessary”, right? How about promoting stories they knew were bogus in order to hurt Trump, and apparently in many cases, creating said bogus stories themselves. Then, they buried stories that could hurt Biden they knew to be true, or were afraid might be true; and, even worse, actively silenced those who tried to seek the truth about them.
Very Orwellian, very, very successful, and very, very, very scary.

cardcrimsonParticipant“If the mob had been able to seize a hostage, Pelosi or Pence, the consequences would have been serious. I can guarantee you Trump would have tried to negotiate his way into a second term.”
Probably the most ridiculous comment I’ve read in a long time. GR, are you actually Outsider Fan from TOS?

cardcrimsonParticipant
Pretty serious stuff and pretty impressive presentation. The GOP would have done well to treat Donald Trump as radioactive after 1/6. There was simply nothing to be said in defense or mitigation.
. . . and mean while, Rome burns. What have the Dems done in 15 months? What have they put forward in years? All they seem to do is investigate, not to get to the truth, but to tarnish the other side with completely biased material.
Legislating would be a novel idea, but they’ve no clue what to do or how to do it, other than focus on proper pronouns, rewriting history, opening the borders and giving us $8 a gallon gas.
cardcrimsonParticipantFrom the post game reports I heard this afternoon, Depp was exactly the opposite of narcissistic. He laid all his personal issues out there, but convinced the jury that spousal abuse wasn’t one of them. Takes juevos to do that.
That said, alway figured he was an odd kind of guy. Never thought of her before; no respect for her now.
cardcrimsonParticipant“After the draft was published, a crowd gathered outside the Supreme Court building Monday evening, as people came together to console one another and question what to do next.At one point, the crowd began to chant, “Hey, hey, ho, ho, Samuel Alito’s gotta go.” “We will not go back.” “Abortion rights are under attack, what do we do, stand up fight back.” “Pack the courts.”“From CNN’s article, https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/02/politics/roe-v-wade-supreme-court/index.htmlAgree with you that it’s both an attempt to intimidate a court and a terrifying precedent. Not sure which dystopian future we’re headed for, Animal Farm, 1984 or a Brave New World, but it doesn’t look good. . . .-

cardcrimsonParticipantBoy you got that wrong, yet again. Not a Hannity fan and haven’t watched much of his show since Colmes left. Voted for Trump. Love his sense of humor. Love his America First stance. Love most of his policies. Haven’t met him, but seriously doubt I’d like him as a person. Would I vote for him again? Only as a last resort.
So exactly what is your point? That Hannity and Trump traded text messages? I’m shocked, shocked that gambling is going on in here. That said, the Republicans are so far behind the Dems in the propaganda machine, it’s pathetic.
Do I think there was an effort to steal the election? Absolutely. Widespread voter fraud. Possible, but not highly likely.
It was the collusion amongst the media and the Dems that stole the election, a propaganda machine not seen since the Nazi’s and the Soviets. Amazing how the Dems talking points all matched up perfectly. Hunter’s laptop and cozy connections? Classic Russian disinformation until it wasn’t. Wuhan Lab leak? Trump xenophobia until it wasn’t. Trump/Steele Dossier? Iron clad evidence until Hillary’s onion started to be peeled. A phone call with the pres of Ukraine grounds for impeachment, even if he did ask for help in an investigation? Please. See Hunter, and Putin’s war. I could go on and on, but what’s the point?
A suggestion for you: first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

cardcrimsonParticipant
Feel free to go massless.
Protestants have been doing that for centuries. . . .
cardcrimsonParticipantSaw on the news this morning that Ford is rolling out an all electric F-150 today, coming out of the same historic plant that built the Model T. I’d imagine the thing can tow.
Had a chat with the CEO of a graphene based battery company. Their car battery charges extremely fast, so fast, that the existing service lines will have difficulty providing enough electricity quick enough.
cardcrimsonParticipant
But I certainly want to know what’s being abridged, why and by who.
You know what. You know why. And you know who. You just want people to acknowledge it, admit it, and for the public to realize it. Too bad the public won’t really care. . . .
cardcrimsonParticipantDon’t agree that towing is an issue at all. That’s a motor issue. A friend drove a Tesla semi a few years back (he’s president of a logistics company), said it was amazing. Motor’s can be designed appropriately.
Storage is an issue, as will be flammability of some battery tech. Infrastructure is indeed a huge issue. To utilize the existing infrastructure, I heard a panel of experts tout hydrogen. Can flow through the natural gas lines just fine and can be stored. Makes a ton of sense.
Also working with a company that has a graphene based, aluminum ion battery they are developing. Not flammable, can be charged extremely quickly, too (cell phone in 5 minutes). . ..
cardcrimsonParticipantA big issue with electrification is storage, especially with because batteries self discharge. Good lithium ion batteries have a self discharge rate of 5% per month and that rate is continuous. As a comparison, if my gas tank holds 20 gallons, it’s like I’ve a leak in the tank that loses a gallon of gas a month. Not good.
cardcrimsonParticipantWow, didn’t even look at the by line. Popped up on my current Google news feed as current. Nice algorithms they are using.
Never mind. . . . .
cardcrimsonParticipantJust heard that a well known and very active girl at a local high school took her own life this week. Mental health continues to be a huge concern for kids . . .
cardcrimsonParticipantStunning the disparity.
cardcrimsonParticipantBiden and his team are so ridiculous. Heard him chattering today about “Putin’s Price Increases”, and that’s the talking point on much of the MSM.
Nobody is buying it, as the price increases were well before Putin’s Folly in Ukraine.
