Agreed. Amazing the complete disregard for legislated policy and the complete acceptance for executive order policy. Stunningly successful. . . .
cardcrimsonParticipant
Please. Covid made for an unusual election, but it came off stunningly. The only irregularity is the utter irresponsibility of one Donald Trump. He’s a one man banana republic.
You are stunningly out of touch. For years, the Dems have been preaching “by any means possible”. They got their wish, but at what cost? Our trust in Government has been awful. Now it’s non existent, and they’ve taken the electoral process with them.
A “true believer”? Blow it out your ass, GR. I’ve never been a fan of the guy, and I’m long on the record on that. But I completely support America first. Something you clearly don’t.
You must be doing handsprings as China cracks down on freedom in Hong Kong and Jack Ma has been missing for months. I’m sure Hunter will be on top of those in no time.
cardcrimsonParticipantNot that it matters, I believe I posted well before the November election, that I had lost faith in our election process. Seemingly, a large part of the Republican side, and a surprisingly big chunk of the Dems agree.
We are a banana republic, and it’s sickening. Will
Harris, I mean Biden, be able to restore the faith. Not a chance.
cardcrimsonParticipantYes he has. But interestingly, today has made Pelosi, Biden and Schumer look small as well.
All of the conservative leadership have come out strongly against what happened today. Vociferously. Fox News too.
The riots after Trump won, the riots and occupations in major cities across the country the last four years? Crickets and excuses from Larry Curly and Moe, and their minions in the press.
cardcrimsonParticipantI’ve been tied up all day, and just turned on the news. Did Trump lead a raid on the Capitol? Did he encourage his supporters to attack the halls of Congress? Seriously, even CNN hasn’t gone that far. . . .
Indeed, it is despicable storming Congress, and those that did should be prosecuted. Period.
After the last four years of farces and violent protests, it’s very tempting to enter into whataboutism, but not today.
cardcrimsonParticipantPuzzled watching the returns. With 91% in Perdue held a 3% lead. With 95% in, the lead is down to .2%. How does that happen? Legitimately I mean.
cardcrimsonParticipant
@cardcrimson — I mentioned in a previous post last week that I didn’t really follow the Russia thing that closely and never commented one way or another on it. I will note, though, that it was initiated by Republicans, investigated by Republicans, and prosecuted by Republicans. If you’re talking about the quid pro quo thing (Ukraine) — I am still of the opinion it was an abuse of power. And the fact that Trump was not held accountable is probably one reason why he felt emboldened to call the Secretary of State of Georgia (and who knows who else) to ask them to change the votes — which itself may be illegal and undemocratic at the very least.
Schiff is a Republican? Nice change of topic btw.
cardcrimsonParticipant“It’s insane that the President of the United States is leading the charge on the disinformation.”
Yes it is.
But where were you when the Speaker of the House and the Senate Minority Leader and the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee were leading the disinformation campaign for the four years prior?

cardcrimsonParticipantMight I suggest that those that can post on the Covid-19 board, post that this could be a very viable alternative, with all opinions welcome. Wouldn’t hurt. . . .

cardcrimsonParticipantGreat point, didn’t think about the recruiting aspects. Clearly, both Santa Clara County and California in general are disasters from mismanagement. So many other places to explore that aren’t burdened with the draconian lockdowns. The “40 year decision” doesn’t work if you can’t go to school and can’t play. . . .

cardcrimsonParticipant
You may wish to visit Karl Strauss Brewery and Restaurant (owned by a couple fraternity brothers) before or after your visit to Pacers or Cheetahs. Of course, you should probably wear a mask or other PPE.
One would think that would be self evident, but apparently not:
cardcrimsonParticipantAnd the folks on TOS are ready to anoint Shaw as the coach of the year and Mills as a sure fire NFL QB.
Mills may have the talent, but doubtful he’s as ready as Mac Jones, Trask or Fields, let alone the kids from ND State and BYU. Then there’s some guy from a school on a lake in SC, as well. Somebody stated Mills should do well, as this is a fairly weak QB class. . . .I’m betting there will be at least six taken in the first round, and Mills won’t be one of them.
I hope he does well, but he’s just not be developed liked those ahead of him.
One of the funniest comments I’ve heard from TOS, was that if Shaw had won one or both of the Covid Mills games (Oregon, Colorado), he’d be headed to Alabama take over after his remarkable success here this year. Laugh out loud ridiculous.
cardcrimsonParticipantI was actually expecting that CNN announced the federal investigation into Hunter’s China relationships was the joke.

Better late than never, I guess. See ya Joe, hello Kamala. . . .
cardcrimsonParticipantLovely.
Pelosi’s a piece. Youtube and twitter too.
The news about Swalwell’s a hoot. Stunningly, nary a peep on CNN’s site.
cardcrimsonParticipantShe would have sued. . . .
