I’m old, but not that old. Nor am I a hospital worker. Kaiser in CA only has enough for health care providers, they haven’t even opened up for 75 plus yet. . . .

Trump signed seven in January after his inauguration. 44 and counting for Biden. Who’s the dictator?

    Seditionists?

One guy, right? That would be in the singular, not plural. Please, if you’re going to post crap, at least post it correctly.

But the Dems won’t. It’s not in their DNA anymore; they won’t be able to let it go. And of course, they have the DOJ, the House and Senate, and the media. Biden could have done anything, and he’s in the clear.

Mr. Ed could have garnered north of 45% of the vote as long as his last name wasn’t Trump.
Horse feathers.

You underestimate Mr. Ed. He would have won in a landslide.

To be accurate, the attack was indeed worse than I had originally seen, and the assaults on the police despicable.

Interesting the head of the Capitol Police asked for help, ie for the National Guard to be deployed, but was denied on multiple occasions. The Sergeant of Arms at the House said no. The Sergeant of Arms at the Senate said ask quietly. The Mayor of DC wanted to keep a light police presence.

Constitutional Crisis? Perhaps that’s hyperbole, but clear f*** ups by many, including Trump. Oddly reminiscent of Benghazi, but of course on own own soil and by our own citizens.

“We have received numerous complaints regarding objectionable content in your Parler service, accusations that the Parler app was used to plan, coordinate, and facilitate the illegal activities in Washington D.C. on January 6, 2021 that led (among other things) to loss of life, numerous injuries, and the destruction of property,”

I guess that the fact that Android and iPhones were used to plan, coordinate, and facilitate the illegal activities is lost on them. They need to ban their own phones. . . .

    Sedition, insurrection and treason?

A simple question that I’ve been pondering for the last few hours:

As egregious as the assault on the Capitol was, and the guilty should indeed be punished, if it were a true insurrection and an attempt at a coup, would the infiltrators have been content to take selfies on the dais, in Pelosi’s office, etc.?
I’m not so sure you’re heading down the right path. Some here have suggested Trump was making several important contributions to the national well being. Generally his policy portfolio has been proven to be effective in furtherance of our national interests. Of equal importance, he’s dragged our politicians out of their dens and obligated them to reveal their true character and personal interests. The litany of bs from Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler, Schiff, Graham, Romney, Murkowski et al is now on the record. They can’t walk from it. “I am the Democratic Party”. “I represent all Americans and I’ll unify the country”…but I won’t call out Pelosi and Schumer when they spew base baiting bull shit about the 25th amendment or impeachment. I won’t condemn efforts by social media to stifle free and open dialog. I lied when I said I know nothing of my son’s business and rumors of misbehavior are Russian disinformation Joe, you couldn’t control your party until you took office. You can’t impose any discipline on those who undermine your presidency…before it starts. You’re senile and you’re not up to the job. Trump may look prescient yet again.
You lost me. How am I headed down the wrong path lamenting the clamp down on conservative expression?

    And so it begins.

Not only Trump’s twitter, but Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon (their servers) et al are systematically closing down, or threatening to close down, right leaning sites and services. Book publishers, too.

Parler exec was just on Tucker, and they are under siege. Stanford grad Hawley had his book deal from Simon and Shuster canceled because he invoked the First Amendment.

Welcome to the New American Order. I fear we are about to enter a period of unprecedented darkness in this nation.

Isn’t she under investigation for voter fraud for trying to get people to temporarily move to Georgia to vote? Must be true, saw it on the MSM. . . .By any means necessary, right?

What could be more troubling would be someone who taps into that huge group of disenfranchised citizens, who’s much more polished, yet much more devious and cunning than Trump.

How about vaccines sitting in freezers because bureaucrats in hospitals can’t get them into arms. One of the more liberal posters on TOS, a pediatrician, was complaining about exactly that.

Didn’t know about the ammo shortage.

Did know about China, and think I posted that somewhere.

Really, really disappointed in Biden’s speech today. Extremely angry at Trump, okay, I get it for yesterday, but Biden made it a campaign speech about ties to Putin, etc.

Then Biden went after Barr. Ripped him apart for being Trumps personal attorney. Guess he forgot that Barr refused to announce the federal investigation in Hunter during the run up to the election, which may have swung the election if publicized, and that Barr said he didn’t see enough election malfeasance to effect the outcome of Biden’s election.

Didn’t end there, blamed the intrusion of the Capitol on racism within the Capitol police and their partners.

    A uniter? Not a chance.

    God help this country.
Yes he has. But interestingly, today has made Pelosi, Biden and Schumer look small as well. All of the conservative leadership have come out strongly against what happened today. Vociferously. Fox News too. The riots after Trump won, the riots and occupations in major cities across the country the last four years? Crickets and excuses from Larry Curly and Moe, and their minions in the press.
Going further, interesting how the press is rightly calling the people involved rioters, yet wouldn’t touch that word during BLM and Antifa events. They were protesters.

Steve Kerr called them terrorists; where was his stinging rebuke during the BLM and Antifa riots? Where was he when the Chinese clamped down of those seeking freedom for Hong Kong? Ironically, the Chinese clamped down hard again over the last few days, but that’s completely lost on the world now.
