rjnwmillParticipant“The fact remains that, had it not been for the coronavirus, in all likelihood, Trump would still be President.”
You think the Chinese were smart enough to design and execute a plan to influence the election?

rjnwmillParticipantWhy do you attribute this to the SEC? Am I misreading the article? This isn’t personal choice?

rjnwmillParticipantI wish the reporter could be compelled to reveal their “source”. A gross falsehood for purely political purposes. And likely someone on the public payroll.

rjnwmillParticipantWait till they start feeling the impact of the tax increase that Biden targeted directly at them. It’s as if the economic health of low income households is seen as an existential threat to democrats?
Spot price on crude has moved from $48 to $65 during the Biden presidency. And the sunsetter delivered this tax before a stimulus check. One can see where the priorities lie.
And Russia, Russia, Russia has another $170 million/day on making our lives more uncomfortable. Joe’s on top of his game.
And ps, Swalwell sues Trump over January 6th? Who advised him that he wants to be testifying under oath in a deposition during discovery? Can we repeat together, “Ineffective assistance of counsel”?

rjnwmillParticipantThere is no way these fools can stop the unintended consequences associated with their open borders policy. Republicans have an open field to negatively spin one off incidents that will result from this wrong headed policy…vehicular accidents, CCP virus cases, open schools at federal facilities for underage illegals.
The 2022 battle lines are being drawn and democrats seem stuck on Trump is bad.

Right you are. The idea of a compassionate border closing as opposed to an exploitive slave trade resulting from an open border.

rjnwmillParticipantIt seems highly likely to me that we’ll “survive” Biden although it appears clear that his peers are taking steps to try to deal with reduced mental capacity in a CiC.
Our history is about change management. Some done effectively, some not. A key challenge going forward is the increasing institutional infection of partisan politics.
As our founders concluded, separation of church and state is fundamental to the free exchange of ideas. Personal beliefs should not be state supported. The leakage of political dogma into government funded institutions is similarly anathema to the marketplace of ideas and the effective functioning of the institutions themselves. Schools, law enforcement and the conduct of elections are simply timely examples.
“Survival”, long term, is less certain as politicians F/U everything they touch.

rjnwmillParticipantBD, I honestly can’t imagine a more wrong headed decision. Introducing the risk of administrative delay into a discussion of strategic response in a world where hypersonic delivery systems will be coming on line.
They offer us senility and now unilateral disarmament as an appropriate response to a mentally impaired CiC? The blatant incompetence on display is breathtaking. At least with the “summer of love” in Seattle, the damage was narrowly distributed.

rjnwmillParticipantThe decisions of ACB & Kavanaugh in the election case and the Trump tax case in NY stand in stark relief to the democratic orthodoxy that has been parroted over the last 3 years. {For clarity for you BT, this observation is case specific. I’m in no way suggesting republicans don’t engage in similar speech.} The suggestion that Trump was rebalancing the “politics” of the court, that the fundamental structure of the court must be altered to undo this perversion, that “conservative” justices must be opposed to protect “progress” is just political deceit. On the other hand, the thought that Trump would appoint JUDGES who would evaluate the cases individually without fear or favor to either party based on the facts of the case was easily, entirely and inappropriately dismissed.
So what happened when the rubber hit the road?
With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, we see that too many citizens bought this divisive political narrative authored by democrats, one used to foment fear and divide the American populace. It proved to be just more bullshit, no? Nothing but a red herring used to obfuscate?
Should there be political accountability now for such deliberate acts? {And give me some props here. I presented my point of view without mentioning the old standbys, impeachment or Russia, Russia, Russia.}
